Children

Train up a child in the way he should go, Even when he is old he will not depart from it.

Here at FBC Sweet Springs, we strive to follow the Lord and to make this our mission — to bring the children to Him! We want to raise them to love and follow Him in all of their ways and for all of their days.

Children are very important to the Lord. In Mark 10:13-16 the disciples were trying to protect Jesus from being bothered by a group of little children. But Jesus told them, "Permit the children to come to Me; do not hinder them; for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. Truly I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God like a child will not enter it at all.”  

We host regular activities for children up to 6th grade three times a week.

• Sunday School: Every Sunday morning from 9:45-10:45 AM we have Sunday school for grades 1-3 and 4-6, as well as preschool and nursery.
• Children's Church: Our Sunday Morning Worship service starts at 10:45 AM. After we spend time together reading the scriptures and singing, the children have the option of joining Children's Church.
• BAM!: On Wednesday nights at 6:45 we have BAM! (Bible, Activities, and Music) for kids from preschool to 6th grade.
